Portfolio
Since I last checked, I am still in education, therefore all of this studio's work so far are purely work for assignments. These projects are incredibly barebones and are only here as a proof-of-concept or as a test to experiment with different game engines and try to get used to programming. I have made these games in Unity to test the waters with. Right now, I'm working on 2 more unannounced projects, one of them being a top-down game made in Godot, and the other project being a console-based blackjack game written in Python, to try and experiment with games and working with game logic made without the assistance of a game engine.
Project 1.3
This was the first game I've made, developed in the Unity game engine. It was a project I made to try and get a hold of the basics of how to make a game. You can see that all of the textures are placeholders, with me using them as I've always loved to focus more on the programming side of things. One thing I focused a lot on was the ability to hotswap input devices between keyboard and controller. There are icons in the game showing you which button to press to do things, and if you start giving inputs from another device, then the icons will change to whichever one you're using.
Project 3.2 - Ultra Mega Epic Racers
Project 3.2 was a game jam project developed by the group we were put into. Our original concept was a game styled like the original Mario Kart, where the cars were all 2D sprites moving in a 3D world. We wanted to base all the characters off people from the Bible, though I never got any assets, so I had to develop the game with placeholders instead.
The final game turned out very differently from what I hoped, with a lack of help from my group, the map and car were assets found on the Unity asset store. The only things that my group actually managed to finish themselves are the "You Finished" screen and the golden button, the rest of the game was put together by me.The game jam lasted 2 week, though I had less than a week to try and put everything together, since I was waiting for placeholder animations to come from my team which never arrived.
The poor communication and effort made by the team means that no paperwork nor concept art was kept. This means that I can't find any documents to link for the documents download.
